Koh Yung, The Emerald of Andaman Sea of Thailand

Koh Yung is situated in the northern part of Koh Phi Phi, in Krabi province, in the South of Thailand.  It is one of your “must visit” sight when you visit Koh Phi Phi.

It is famous as the emerald of Andaman Sea of Thailand.  The emerald sea is surrounded by limestone hills which have strange shapes.  It is a dream island that anyone would like to travel to.  It is like heaven on earth that is not easily seen from anywhere.

It’s unfortunate that this island does not have white sandy beach for walking like others.  There is only a small beach in the fold of hill.   It is, in fact, very rocky. 

By the way, this island is well-known as a paradise of scuba diving and snorkeling.  You can swim in clear water to see amazing coral reefs, both hard and soft.  You will also see many species of colorful fish which are very beautiful.   It is very perfect place for these activities indeed.

I can say that Koh Yung, the emerald of Andaman sea of Thailand, is very charming island and it can attract many tourists to go there frequently.
