Ratchaprapa Dam or Choew Lan Dam, One of the most Tourist Attractions of Thailand

Ratchaprapa Dam or it is known as Choew Lan Dam is situated in Surat Thani Province, in the South of Thailand.  It is one of the most tourist attractions of Thailand due to its beauty of natural forests and lake views.  It's a very nice place for people who love to relax peacefully. 

The charm of Ratchaprapa Dam is the natural abundance of forests. There are plenty of limestone mountains with beautiful shapes standing remarkably.  It offers quiet atmosphere and cool breeze.  

 

Furthermore, the water of the dam is incredibly beautiful with emerald green.  You can see a lot of fish swimming in the water clearly.

There are a lot of floating bungalows providing for you to stay among the wonderful nature. You will enjoy staying there happily with your family or friends, for sure!

Khao Sok and Ratchaprapha Dam, Holiday Destination of Thailand

Khao Sok National Park is located in Surat Thani province, in the South of Thailand.  “Khao”, in Thai, means “Mountain”.  It is really remote area with fresh air, chilled water, green and untouched forest.  You will see beautiful limestone mountain range from north to south. 

It is a great place for relaxing; camping, fishing, floating in a canoe, enjoying boat trip along the river.  You can see some cute wildlife; i.e. birds, snakes on the trees branches.   

Besides, you will have amazing experience at Elephant Hill Camp; i.e. feeding elephants, ones of the most cute and kind animals, elephants trekking.

Furthermore, you can visit another nearby place, Ratchaprapha Dam or Cheow Lan Dam, where you can take tons of pictures of wonderful scenery; beautiful sandstones and mudstone rocks that rise above water level.  You will be also impressed with clear and clean water.

You can stay relaxing over the night in the floating Bangalows; enjoy swimming in the freshwater stream and feel much more relax at the waterfall.

We can say that these 2 places are amazing holiday destination for nature lovers and adventurers indeed.

Chai Nat, Thailand Amazing Place

If you are the one who love nature and would love to travel to natural places, I would like to recommend Chai Nat for you. Chai Nat is situated in the Central Part of Thailand. Although it is a small province, it is very amazing place. You will feel fresh air while you stay among beautiful nature. You will wake up in the early morning and find the beautiful moon and a lot of exquisite stars. You can take tons of photos of the moon with the rice field view as a wonderful background. Then after the amazing scenery with the moon, you will find the bright sun gradually rise and it will be another great scenery indeed.

By the way, the famous places that most people in Thailand know about Chai Nat are :

Chao Phraya Dam :  This is a must place to see when you visit Chai Nat.  It is the Thailand's first large dam.  At this dam, you will be impressed another amazing scenery; i.e. when the sun gradually fall into the water.  It will be very wonderful view.

Chainat Bird Garden :  It is another well-known and amazing place.  It is the biggest bird park in Asia; there are a lot of bird species.

Once you drive to Chai Nat, you will notice beautiful big birds making from straw around the province to invite you or remind you to visit this bird garden. Of course, these birds attract tourists very much.


In the meantime, the most famous annual fair of Chai Nat that is very amazing is "Straw Bird Fairs". It is held annually during Chinese New Year in February.

Srinakarin Dam, A Wonderful Dam in Thailand

If you plan to visit Kanchanaburi, third largest province of Thailand, you are also invited to go to Srinakarin Dam where you can see both beautiful lake view and marvelous mountain view.  (only 3 kgs. from Erawan Waterfall / only 2 - 3 hours from Bangkok)  There are a lot of marine life in the lake and some wild animals; i.e. tigers, deers, elephants, etc., can be found in the surrounded area.  

It is such a nice place where you can spend your holiday with tranquil environment.  Every moment at Srinakarin Dam is surrounded by cool water and pure air.  You can also spend every minute happily exploring the finer points of doing absolutely nothing.  Let the peaceful moment capture you.  You will certainly love the way it is.

If you would like to stay overnight, some nice resorts and raft houses, which are very comfortable, are available for you.  You can feel much more relax there.
