Koh Larn (Coral Island) is a very wonderful island in Thailand. It is situated in Chonburi Province, not far away from Pattaya and only 2 hours drive from Bangkok.
This island is very small, only approx. 4 km. long and approx. 2 km. wide. There are only 6 beaches, but popular and wonderful with white clean sand and clear crystal water. The most famous and wonderful beach is Tawaen Beach. You will enjoy a wonderful and magnificent green mountain view indeed. Other beaches are Tonglang

Beach and Naon
Beach.
At Koh Larn you will have highly relaxing days by lying peacefully on the sand or having many fun activities that you can do; i.e. excellent snorkeling, scuba diving, jet ski, banana boat, or swimming in the perfect blue sea, etc. You can also have a bicycling or hiking around the spectacular views at Koh Larn.
One place that is highly recommended is Khao Nom (Nom Hill). I can say that it is the most wonderful place in Koh Larn. You will see panoramic views that show every places around Koh Larn from this very high place and also see Pattaya City from here as well. It's very impressing.
Seafood at Koh Larn is very fresh, rather cheap and so delicious. Besides, there are a lot of clothing and souvenirs selling a long the beaches that you can get really good bargains and you will certainly enjoy shopping.
There are other two smaller islands which are close to Koh Larn. They are Koh Sak
(It has a horseshoe-shaped beach in the north.) and Koh Krok (a private island).
