Koh
Samae San is situated in Chonburi province, in the East of Thailand. It takes only 15 minutes to go there from the
main land. It is just a small island, in
oval shape, only 4 km. in length and the maximum width is just approx. 1 km. It
is presently under control of the Royal Thai Navy.
The
nature of Koh Samae San is well taken care so the beach, sea and forest look
very fresh, pure, natural, and beautiful.
There is no entertainment disturbing you at Koh Samae San so you can
rest assure that you will get much relaxed while you are there.
By
the way, it is for one day trip only because there is no hotel accommodation at Koh
Samae San.
The
activities that would be interesting for you are swimming along the beach,
boating, fishing, biking around the island, trekking through the green forest, playing
football or valley ball at the beach.
Besides,
the island is well-known for snorkeling; i.e. there are diving areas especially
for the ones who love to see beautiful corals and colorful fish under the sea.
It
is one of the most important centers about underwater world in Thailand. You can also pay a visit to the museum of sea
and islands of Thailand there, for more study.
Last
but not least, I would like to emphasize that this island is very beautiful
with natural view, especially the rich underwater world scenery which is much
wonderful. It is recommended to come here
once of your life, there are a lot of amazing things there than you think!
For
your information, best time to travel to Koh Samae San is during January –
April.
