Phu Kradung is the National Park of Thailand.  It is situated in Loei province, in the North-Eastern of Thailand.   It is a high and large plateau which is well-known as "table mountain".   The reasons why Phu Kradung should be your travel destination are that there are many romantic spots where most lovers can take a lot of beautiful photos together.

Besides, many wonderful scenery such as  wild forest; pine forest, hill forest, wild orchids, rocky fields or waterfalls, will certainly impress you at first sight.

Moreover, the weather there is quite cool throughout the year which create some romantic atmosphere indeed.   Months that are recommended for visitors are October to January which is in winter season there.

The most exiting and adventurous point is while climbing to the mountain which is steep.  (It will take approx. 3 - 6 hours walk, 5 kgs. climbing high to the plateau and 3 kgs. meadow walk to the park headquarters)  It maybe very hard time for some lovers; i.e. it is believed among young Thai people that you may get true love or lost love after the trip.  It is because the way during climbing is very hard, there are some obstruction or some difficulty so this would probably proof any true love; whether he/she can take good care of you, whether he/she can help you at any time or not.   This is considered to be the great test of his/her or your mind and body accordingly.

Sunrises and sunsets at Phu Kradung are also very much fascinating.  You can feel like standing on the heaven, seeing below one mountain after another covering with mist in the fresh morning, clear blue sky is almost reached as well.  It will certainly be a perfect dream travel destination for most lovers who would like to spend their times together with those beautiful natures.

Phu Luang, Thailand Recommended Travel Destination

If you are a mountain and adventure lover, Phu Luang is highly recommended as Thailand travel destination since there are a lot of beautiful natural attractions; such as steep cliffs, waterfalls, flower fields, on a rock plateau.  Phu Luang is a mountainous National Park in Loei Province, in the Northeast part of Thailand.  It is a high and large jungle plateau for a distance of approx. 6 kilo meters, approx. 1,550 meters high above sea level, with cool climate throughout the year.  It looks like table-top mountain.

October to May is the best period for trekking when a lot of maple trees transform to red which are very wonderful.  Besides, there are a lot of wild animals (including approx. 100 wild elephants and various kinds of birds) in the mixed forest of tropical and colder mate forest; i.e. dry evergreen, hill evergreen forest and the most attractive ones are the pine forests. savannah on the plains and stone terraces and grassy fields.

Furthermore, you can see various kinds of wild orchids, such as Lady's Slipper orchids, white wild orchids, etc. covering all over Phu Luang area.

Besides, you can find dinosaur foot print on the rock which is believed to be approx. over 120 million years old.

In short, I can say that Phu Luang should be considered as one of the most charming place and highly recommended as Thailand travel destination.  Come and share the wonderful experience with us at Phu Luang.

Mae Hong Son, Thailand, My Dream Destination

Mae Hong Son, Thailand, is my dream destination since I was young as it has great and beautiful scenery covered with the mist throughout the year.  It is quite a quiet town, situated in the north of Thailand, not far away from Chiengmai.  (only 120 kgs.)  It is in the deep valley surrounded with high mountain and it borders mostly Myanmar.  The two rivers of Salween and Moei, which are natural boundaries between Thailand and Myanmar, much attract me or other visitors to come to Mae Hong Son.

Besides, Mae Hong Son, has a lot of mountain ranges with virgin forest which will fascinate most visitors.  Among those mountains are the West Thanon Thongchai Mountains which serve as the natural boundary between Thailand and Myanmar.  Hill-tribes would be also attracted by visitors.  There are many hill-tribes in Mae Hong Son such as Shan or Thai Yai people (who are the largest group in Mae Hong Son.  They bring Burmese influence as you can see from temples, architecture or festival), Karen, Lisu, Yao, Hmong.  They all have fascinating cultures.

If you are the one who love nature like me, Mae Hong Son is the place that you must not miss.  You can go trekking and hiking in the hills, ride elephant, visit to hill tribe villages; the popular Pradongs Karen with long-necked women are living there.  Someone called them "Giraffe necked women".  They stretch their necks with bass coils to frighten away the togas in the old days.  But, nowadays the rings serve as their status; the more rings they wear, the wealthier they are.  They are so nice and friendly.

My most favorite activity is sailing on a raft or boat along the Mae Hong Son river which is very wonderful.  The scenery along the banks is still fresh and unspoiled with green forest and mountains.   (The best time for rafting is from October to March)

Another scenery that I like to see is the "Sunflower field" where you can see wild sunflower grow all over the mountain.  This will occur starting November till December every year.  It is very beautiful and attractive.  Sunflowers Festival is held in Khun Yuan by end of November each year.

Although Mea Hong Son is just a small town, it is a great place to visit and there are much to see indeed.  That is why Mae Hong Son is my dream destination.
